ABOUT US
‘Fenice Massage Therapy’ is inspired from the name Renata which means ‘reborn’. Fenice is the Latin for Phoenix which is the mythical bird that burns itself and is reborn from its own ashes. And the beautiful spirals of the Triskelion - the ancient Celtic symbol we use – also represent life, birth and rebirth, as well as the unity of the mental, physical and spiritual self.

Fenice Massage Therapy offer treatments which help to balance all three aspects of the self. We are experienced therapist who can also tailor each treatment to suit your personal needs, whether it is sports and injury related, for general aches, pains and muscle imbalances, or for overall relaxation and wellbeing.

I’ve always been passionate about the body. The way it moves, functions, and its ability to heal itself. So, it was natural for me to begin my professional career as a personal trainer working with a range of athletes and those who just wanted to see a difference in the way they looked and felt. Later, I also moved onto massage and have treated a broad spectrum of people over the last twenty years. My massage treatments range from Holistic Massage and Reiki for a more relaxed treatment, to Deep Tissue and Sports Massage which look more in depth to troubled areas and their dysfunction.

I also offer personal training sessions to assist in improving posture, strength improvements, flexibility, sports related training and overall well being.

For as long as I can I remember I’ve always been interested in physical activities, nutrition, having a sense of wellbeing and general healthy living. As a child and teen, I competed in athletics, and later, fell in love with yoga and boxing which changed my life. Alongside, I’ve always tried to maintain a natural, clean diet. For me, having a natural balance between the two is so important for a healthy body and mind. Massage is also a beautiful way to bring the mind and body together, as well as to help with the immune system, with poor sleeping patterns, and to help alleviate general aches and pains.

I started my journey as a bodywork therapist with a professional Holistic massage qualification so I could help heal people and restore balance within their body. I have continued to develop professionally by practising and studying a variety of techniques, as well as completing a number of recognised courses. In addition, I have also worked at a number of five-star hotel spas across London.
